loelens has no accounts, sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other parties. Every file the site needs comes from www.loelens.com itself.
What your browser keeps
The site keeps a few settings in your own browser, in what browsers call local storage, so it remembers them on your next visit. They stay on your device. The site never sends them anywhere.
amsterdam_model_lang: the language you use, English or Dutch.loelens-theme: light or dark mode, once you switch it.loelens.welcomeSeen: that the short welcome screen has played, so it does not play again.amp.glossary.state: whether the glossary on the model page is open or folded.amp.explainer.controls.state: whether the explanation of the sliders on the model page is open or folded.loelens.methodology.loopsSeen: that you have opened a feedback loop panel on the methodology page, so the first one no longer opens by itself.
The language and welcome keys are written on your first visit. The other four appear only when you use the setting they belong to. You can remove them all by clearing the site data for loelens.com in your browser.
What is sent, and to whom
Nothing you do on the site is sent anywhere. The model runs in your browser, and the PDF report is made in your browser too.
The site runs on Vercel. Like any host, Vercel keeps ordinary server logs of each request, including your IP address, the page you asked for and the type of browser you use. loelens adds nothing to those logs and runs no analytics on them.
